GIFT OF LAND

This place had all beauty of the nature showered by God, that no external factors had the opprotunity to expoit the innocence of the very few people living as a community gathered for sharing all the fruits they got from their hardwork. This place was like a dense forest, where the people resided in that area had experienced the weather entirely different from the present day. This was hilly region with very huge trees and during the rainy season, it would be better explained as they never saw the sunlight for months. But they were skilled enough to find their way out through their own means of transportation such as the bullock carts.

Then it was the time for the people from other regions to migrate, lucky enough to end up in this area. They migrated in hundreds and settled in various hillsides sharing the plots of land, which was to be identified by their own landmarks. This place was found excellent for the tea plantation due to the weather. They also cultivated coffee and pepper as a long term investement for these small scale land owners. There were other side cultivations such as ginger, plantains, tapioca and other vegetables. Whatever was cultivated, the farmers found great satisfaction in their work of yield.

During this period, their only means of transportation was their locamotive organs. They reached out kilometers away to fulfill any basic requirement of the government and the business was not flourished enough to reach the nook n corner of these places. People moved out of this place to find opportunities, by having a stable position in this land. Their mind set was broad enough to adopt changes from outside, for they understood, it would improve their standard of living. They had opportunities to sell the land, but none gave-up their pretty land.

Years passed by and the next generation grew up. The second generation could find some availability for their basic rights, such as education and knowledge. They improved their lifestyle and eagerly waited for better opportunities for the next generation to experience. They found roads, schools, postoffice, health clinics and religious centres for worship. All these centres contributed their best for this lovely place. However it changed, the beauty and calmness were not affected. The cultivation and the innosense of the people remained the same. The thrid generation would have got the best opportunities, as they had their education in good institutes of the religious congregations and the parents did their best to make use of these chances. Thus with the effort and co-operation of the whole population in this place, it was attracted by the visitors who only heard of this place and never experienced the beauty.

Even now, if you made a visit, you can still find the scene and serenity of the place alive. They do not want any shoppings mall or cinema halls built for it can get polluted. They enjoy the modern life out of this place and come back to experince the peace and calmness back home.

And this place is called as "BEKKY"
